Plain language, and it means what it says. Using SiteOfMe means you agree to this.
Your account
One person or organisation per account. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content stays yours
Everything you write and upload belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it. You give us only the permission we need to store it and serve it as your site, which ends when you delete it.
What you may not publish
Anything illegal, anything that impersonates someone else, malware, and content that exists to deceive people. We can suspend a site that does any of this, and we will tell you why.
The free plan
Genuinely free, with no time limit. Free sites carry a small badge linking back to SiteOfMe, which any paid plan removes. We may set fair limits on storage and bandwidth if one account starts affecting everyone else.
Paid plans
Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST. A yearly plan is billed at ten months, so two are free. Payment is arranged manually while the payment gateway is being finished, and we will say so at checkout rather than surprising you.
Cancel whenever you like. Your site stays live on your free subdomain; you lose the paid features until you subscribe again. We do not delete your work because you stopped paying.
Uptime
We work to keep sites up and we are not promising a number we cannot hold to. If something breaks, the Support link in the footer reaches a person.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and except in obvious cases of abuse we will contact you first.
Liability
SiteOfMe is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost profits or lost business. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
